Programme Manager - Financial Markets (eTrading Technology)

Our client, a reputable firm within the Investment Banking space, is looking to hire an experienced Programme Manager and Delivery Lead to oversee an eTrading technology transformation programme across FX and Fixed Income products. This is a strategic leadership role within a global investment bank, responsible for driving large-scale, multi-year initiatives alongside shorter-term, high-impact projects in the eTrading domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end programme leadership across all FX and FI eTrading technology change initiatives.
• Strategic delivery of complex projects, including AI integration, technology simplification, and optimisation of eTrading platforms.
• Stakeholder engagement with senior business heads, traders, and technology teams, ensuring alignment with regulatory and market structure requirements.
• Technology strategy execution on a variety of complex projects with a push towards a target state.
• Driving automation across FX and FI, supporting the acceleration of electronic trading capabilities.
• Managing a global team of Business Analysts and Project Managers in both onshore and offshore locations.
• Process improvement and delivery optimisation, enhancing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and potentially Scaled Agile frameworks.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Extensive experience in Programme Management and delivery leadership within an eTrading environment.
• Deep understanding of FX and/or Fixed Income products, market structure, and regulatory requirements for algorithmic trading.
• Strong technology background, with knowledge of trading infrastructure and vendor management.
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including Heads of Business, traders, and IT leadership.
• Track record of driving technology simplification, automation, and strategic transformation in eTrading.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, with experience optimising project capacity and improving delivery frameworks.

The Bank offer a flexible working arrangement and a base salary of approximately £140k-£160k + cash benefits and discretionary bonus.
