UI/ UX Engineer
A leading investment bank are seeking a talented UI/ UX Engineer with strong React and Figma skills to help them create intuitive, user-centered products for clients and internal teams.
Position Overview
As a UX Engineer/Developer, you will bridge the gap between design and development to create seamless, engaging user interfaces for a range of financial products. Your role will involve working closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to bring complex, data-driven applications to life. With a solid grasp of both front-end engineering and UX design, you will be instrumental in enhancing the user experience across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate business requirements and user insights into effective, intuitive digital experiences.
- Develop responsive, accessible front-end components using React, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Use Figma to create interactive prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
- Build reusable component libraries, focusing on clean, modular, and maintainable code.
- Conduct usability testing and collect user feedback to refine and optimize the user experience.
- Ensure designs and implementations adhere to UX/UI best practices and align with our brand standards.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure data consistency and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience using Figma for design and prototyping, with a keen eye for visual detail and design principles.
- Understanding of UX/UI best practices, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
