Data Architect (AWS) - Banking

What is the role?

Our client is looking to hire an AWS Data Architect to play a key role on a major cloud transformation project in the Commercial Banking sector.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the business to design the right architectural patterns for their business needs
• Designing and implementing data models from conceptual through to physical
• Collaborate on cloud architecture and deployment strategies

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security within an AWS environment.

What experience do they require?

• Hands on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, VPC, S3
• Experience in building or migrating large-scale systems to the cloud
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• In-depth knowledge of data decomposition patterns
• Proficiency in Physical Data Models (PDMs) and Logical Data Models (LDMs) representation

This is a PAYE contract working through an Umbrella company. The rate quoted is the Umbrella rate. They operate a hybrid working policy.
