C# Engineer - Low-Latency Trading Systems - London

An extremely successful investment banking client of mine is looking for a highly skilled C# Engineer to work on low-latency, high-performance distributed systems within its Front Office technology team. This role offers the opportunity to develop and enhance execution, market-making, and pricing applications, working on cutting-edge enterprise-scale solutions. You'll collaborate closely with traders and quants, driving innovation in a fast-paced, real-time trading environment.

You will be responsible for building and optimizing scalable, mission-critical systems, utilizing the latest C# technologies. The role involves full lifecycle development-gathering requirements, proposing solutions, implementing features, and supporting production systems. A strong DevOps mindset is essential, with experience using TeamCity and GitLab to streamline CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Expertise in low-latency, high-performance distributed systems
• Strong C# back-end development skills
• Experience with enterprise-scale application development
• DevOps knowledge - TeamCity, GitLab
• Exposure to Front Office trading technology (market making, execution, pricing)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes & containerization (nice to have)
