Application Support Analyst (Fixed Income/ION) - Banking

Application Support: UNIX: Fixed Income: Rates: ION: Bloomberg

One of my clients, a reputable and successful Investment Bank, is looking to hire an Application Support Analyst to join a team that support a number of cross-asset applications that provide critical information for traders across the Structured Rates business. The applications you will be supporting are both bespoke built apps and vendor applications which traders use to connect to multiple exchanges and brokers.

Other responsibilities include:

• Working on application stability enhancements to the Bank's Structured Rates platform.
• Support of the in-house Sales & Trading applications that covers internal pricing, execution and trade management applications and support of the ION Marketview platform
• Documenting any resolutions with the user as well as training them to reduce issues.
• Establishing relationships with user base, including senior stakeholders.
• Working closely with the Development teams so that you gain knowledge to alleviate any L3 issues in the future.
• Helping with testing and business continuity processes.

To be right for this role, you must have the following:

• Proven track record working in an Application Support team at another financial services firm within Fixed Income (ideally Rates).
• Previous experience supporting ION MarketView

The company are operating a hybrid way of working. You will be expected to work in the office three days a week, with the option to work two days a week from home.
